UNICEF expresses disappointment over Al Thabet’s crime against children in Saada

SANAA, July 30 (YPA) – UNICEF’s Office in Yemen on Tuesday expressed disappointment at the reports that children were killed and injured in the bombing of Al-Thabit market in Qutber border district in Saada province.

“We are disappointed with the reports of the killing and wounding of children in Saada,” the office said in a tweet at the organization’s Twitter account. “Children must not be a target.”

The national media quoted medical sources on Monday night as saying that the number of victims from Al Thabet market massacre committed by the coalition aircrafts reached 40 dead and wounded, including 18 children.
