Fierce battles rage on between Islah militias, tribes in Marib

MARIB, July 30 (YPA) – Fierce battles raged on between tribes and Saudi-backed Islah party militias on Tuesday in Marib province, according to sources.

The sources said that the clashes came after Obeida tribes backed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) had cut off a road nearby the oilfields of Safir area.

Earlier, the Islah militias seized several vehicles loaded with weapons provided by the UAE to the tribes, the sources added.
