Update: Army spokesman vows to respond to Saudi attack on Saada market

SANAA, July 29 (YPA) – Spokesman of the Yemeni army Brigadier Yahya Sarie on Monday threatened Saudi regime with an appropriate response to the Saudi-led coalition airstrikes on Al Thabet popular market in Saada province, which left 13 dead and 23 wounded.

“The armed forces will not stand hands in front of the enemy’s crimes,” Brigadier Sarie said in a statement, adding that the army forces have “the strength and determination to respond to the unjust aggression and the brutal siege.”

He confirmed that the coalition’s crime against civilians in the Al Thabet market in Qutaber district proved the failure of Saudi regime in the military and humanitarian fields.

The spokesman noted that the Saudi regime had committed the massacre in the popular market after targeting gatherings of Saudi soldiers and mercenaries with Badr-F missile that hit its target directly.
