Update: Yemen army attacks Saudi military sites in Najran

NAJRAN, July 24 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees on Wednesday carried out a sudden offensive against new sites of Saudi army mercenaries in al-Ajasher desert off Najran region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The offensive was preceded by artillery shelling and intensive combing with various machine guns on the mercenaries’ sites, which resulted in several dead and wounded in their ranks and heavy losses in gear, the official said.
