Child sinks in sewage water in Aden

ADEN, July 22 (YPA) – A child drowned in a hole full of sewage water in al-Basateen neighborhood of Dar Saad district in the southern port city of Aden.

According to eyewitnesses, a child fell into a hole filled with sewage near Al-Taheri mosque and was rescued with the help of residents, but he died immediately.

In last May, the sewage water overflew the streets of Aden city and its impact still until this moment, without taking any urgent action by Hadi’s government and the local authority loyal to Saudi-led coalition to suction sewage and fill potholes.
