Saba condemns continuation of aggression coalition in targeting media cadres

SANAA, July 20 (YPA) – Yemen News Agency (Saba) on Saturday condemned the continuation of Saudi-led aggression coalition in targeting media cadres and institutions, the most recently the killing of director Fayez al-Shamiri of Yemeni Satellite Channel by an airstrike on the capital Sanaa.

The agency denounced, in a statement, the silence of the organizations concerned with press and opinion freedom regarding the systematic targeting of journalists and media organizations.

The statement considered the aggression coalition crimes against media a clear violation of all international and humanitarian norms and laws that criminalize such attacks.

Saba called on Arab and international media unions and organizations to condemn the crimes of the aggression coalition against Yemeni media cadres and institutions and to work to stop these crimes.
