Parliament endorses report on Gov’t expenditure plan

SANAA, July 20 (YPA) – The Yemeni Parliament on Saturday endorsed the report of the committee charged with studying the draft expenditure plan submitted by the National Salvation Government for the second half of the year 2019 (July-December).

In this regard, the parliament decided to direct a number of recommendations to the government, which the government side confirmed its commitment to them.

During this session, the Parliament urged its Standing Committees to follow up the implementation of the recommendations. The members of the parliament stressed in the course of their discussions the need to pay salaries of the state civil employees and military personnel and to work on solving the issue of electricity in the province of Hodeidah.
