Yemen’s drones attack Saudi military sites in Air Base in Khamis Mushayt in Asir

SANAA, July 15 (YPA) – The Yemeni army launched fresh bomb-laden drone attacks against Air Base in Khamis Mushayt in Asir in the south of Saudi Arabia on Monday, the army spokesman said in a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency.

The Qasef 2K drones targeted military facilities and aircraft hangars in Air Base accurately, causing large explosion in weapons depots, spokesman Yahya Sarie said.

Sarie added that the air attacks came in retaliatory response to recent Saudi-led aggression coalition air strikes on Yemen.

“The air strikes on Saudi vital and economic targets will be continued until the aggression end economic blockade,” the spokesman warned.

On July 6, 2019, the Yemeni drones launched attacks against military sites and aircraft hangars in two international airports of Jizan and Asir provinces, causing a suspension in the air traffic.
