Electricity kills worker at Aden Airport

ADEN, July 15 (YPA) – An employee of Aden International Airport was killed on Monday morning after being hit by an electric shock.

“A worker named Lutfi Ibrahim al-Shamakh died of an electric shock caused by a fan designed to ventilate passengers’ hall,” eyewitnesses said.

Lutfi tried to direct the fan toward a number of sick passengers, but an electric shock hit him immediately, they elaborated.

Workers at the airport confirmed that this is not new problem as more than a worker has been shocked by the electricity and survived, but Lutfi died. They called for holding accountable those who caused this negligence.
