SNACC receives financial disclosure from Minister of Electricity

SANAA, July 15 (YPA) – The Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption on Monday received the first financial disclosure from Minister of Electricity in the National Salvation Government Lutf Ali al-Jarmozi.

Following receiving the disclosure, Head of the SNACC Dr. Mohammed al-Ghashm confirmed that the Authority is keen to enhance transparency and integrity in the performance of the public employee and in the public service in all the state facilities, which requires the activation of the efforts of oversight and internal audit in each governmental body.

He pointed out that the implementation of the financial disclosure law No. (30) for the year 2006 aims to protect the employee and maintain the public job and public funds.

For his part, al-Jarmozi confirmed that the Ministry of Electricity would help the Authority in promoting transparency and integrity and to ensure that the employees covered by the law submit their financial disclosures.
