Riyadh expresses regret for UN blessing of unilateral redeployment from Hodeidah ports

HODEIDAH, July 15 (YPA) – Representative of Riyadh delegation and exiled Hadi government in the Coordinating Committee on Redeployment in Hodeidah has expressed regret for the UN blessing of unilateral redeployment from Hodeidah ports by the army and popular committees early in last May.

This came during the Committee’s meetings, which were resumed on Sunday aboard a UN vessel in international waters at the request of Riyadh delegation, 180 days after the absence of the other party and its reluctance to attend the Committee meetings and implement its plan.

A new round of meetings of the Coordination Committee is scheduled to be held on Monday, in presence of both parties representatives, and under the chairmanship of head of the UN observer mission in Hodeidah General Michael Lollesgaard.
