Brigades, parties leaders resign in Socotra
SOCOTRA, April 12 (YPA) – Officials at Bin Daghar authorities , commanders and security officials resigned in Socotra Island on Thursday evening resigned from their posts over Hadi’s decisions, said sources.
General Mohammed Ali Al-Sofi, and a number of security officials, including Hodaybo police chief, the head of General People’s Congress branch, the head of the traffic police and the manager of Hodaybo police resigned over the new appointment of Socotra governor by exiled, resigned Hadi.
The new appointed governor is said to be loyal to the UAE occupation forces.
UAE forces have been running the island by force since two year ago.
