Saudi-backed resigned Hadi’s gov’t accuses UAE of destabilizing security in Socotra Island

SANAA, July 13 (YPA) – The Saudi-backed resigned Hadi’s government on Saturday accused security officials funded by the UAE of preparing to spread chaos and destabilize security and stability in Socotra Island.

Ministry of Information advisor in Government of Hadi, Mukhtar Rahbi, said that that secret meetings were held between UAE officials and local authority of Socotra to establish camp for training militias loyal to the UAE in the province.

The UAE has transferred hundreds of recruits to its territory in an attempt to train and rehabilitate militias for taking over Island and its wealth.
