Angry protests cut off main streets of Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, July 8 (YPA) – The city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadramout province, witnessed on Monday angry protests due to the continued deterioration of the electricity service in the city.

In the angry protests, the participants cut off a number of main and secondary roads, including the Khawr al-Mukalla road.

The protesters demanded that the authorities loyal to the UAE occupation in the province to move quickly and find solutions and treatments to reduce the service and save them from extreme heat.

The city of Mukalla has been experiencing frequent power cuts for two months, due to the lack of sufficient fuel for power plants, as the summer heat this year.
