Army destroys vehicle of coalition mercenaries in Lahj

LAHJ, July 8 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees on Monday destroyed a military vehicle carrying Saudi-led coalition mercenaries on Karish front in Lahj province, southern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The army’s engineering unit ambushed the mercenaries’ vehicle by an explosive device in Shifan area of Karish front, killing and wounding those on board, the official said.

On June 24, group of the coalition mercenaries were killed in artillery shelling targeted their gatherings on the same front.
