SANAA, July 7 (YPA) – At least eight members of the Afghan security forces were killed and more than 50 civilians injured on Sunday in a car bomb in Ghazni province in central Afghanistan, Afghan government officials told Reuters news agency.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the car bomb explosion near the National Security Directorate in the city of Ghazni during the morning rush hour.
“Dozens of members of the National Security Directorate were killed and wounded,” Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said in a statement.
