Update 2: Yemen drones wage fresh attacks on Saudi Abha airport

SANAA, July 6 (YPA) – The Yemeni army launched fresh bomb-laden drone attacks against Abha airport of Asir province in the south of Saudi Arabia on Saturday, the army spokesman said in a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency.

The Qasef 2K drones targeted military facilities and aircraft hangars in the airport, causing a suspension in the air traffic, spokesman Yahya Sarie said.

The strikes were the second attack in less than 24 hours.
On Thursday, the drones hit the same airport, causing large damage to the targeted military establishments.
