AMMAN, July 4 (YPA) – At least two people were killed and two others injured in an explosion caused by a gas leak in a building in the center of Amman, capital of Jordan, local media reported.
According to the local media, a violent explosion rocked the center of the capital on Thursday morning.
Activists circulated video footage shows the crash of the façade of a building as a result of the explosion.
The Central Traffic Department (CTD) said that it has taken traffic measures in central Amman to protect citizens, noting that the explosion was caused by a gas leak inside a restaurant.
According to the activists, the explosion was caused by a gas leak, while fire and rescue vehicles went to the area to deal with the incident.
