Saudi Arabia banishes 2,500 mercenary recruits, threatens Najran brigade commanders

SANAA, July 2 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia has replied back to recent developments, the major insurgency and violent protests that took place inside the Saudi army’s mercenary camps by deporting some 2,500 recruits, military sources familiar with issue reported on Tuesday.

The Saudis has put the commanding brigade in Najran between two options for the Yemeni recruits wither to commit their orders or deporting them.

According to the sources, Saudi officers held a meeting with a commander of the so-called “Fatah Brigade” Radad al-Hashemi, including the leaders of the sectors and battalions in the axis of Najran, on the latest developments, the major rebellion and the violent protests that took place inside the camps of the Saudi army mercenaries.

The military source said that “Saudi officers have set conditions for their mercenaries either complying with orders and not provoking unrest and problems in the name of demanding salaries or entitlements and or deporting them and replace them by other recruits from Taiz.”

“Between 200 and 300 recruits have been deported every day since the protests erupted and now they are punished for demanding their dues and treating their wounded,”the military source added
“The number of deportees from the Fatah and al-Wahda brigades has reached more than 2500 mercenaries,” he said.

Saudi Arabia has recently asked the Senegalese State to send a total of 2100 fighters to defend its borders. What is likely to compensate them is the shortage after many of its Yemeni recruits were reluctant to participate in the fighting without salaries and the rights of treatment.
