Army launches sweeping attack on Saudi positions in Asir

ASIR, July 1 (YPA) – The Yemeni army, backed by popular committees on Monday launched qualitative attack on positions of the Saudi army and its mercenaries in Asir region, which coincided with missile attacks, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official reported that army units carried out a massive offensive on the sites of the Saudi Army’s mercenaries in al-Rabouaa front, coincided with artillery attacks on their positions, leaving heavy casualties in their ranks.

“Dozens of the mercenaries were killed and wounded while others have been pushed back and fled from their sites due to powerful strikes of the army forces, ” the official said.

The missile force of the army fired four Zilizal-1 missiles on gatherings of the Saudi troops and mercenaries in the same front, leaving dead and wounded in their ranks, the official added.
