Head of Southern Transitional Council in Socotra resigns

SOCOTRA, July 1 (YPA) – A member of General Assembly of Southern Transitional Council in Socotra Province has directed a powerful slap to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) occupation forces on the island.

A document issued by General Assembly member, Sheikh Mohammed Dawli Abdullah, on June 26, presented to the Chairman of the Transitional Council in Socotra Province.
The document revealed his resignation from the assembly and his biased to the interest of the security and stability of the province.

Sheikh Mohammed Dawli Abdullah said that his resignation came at the request of the sheikhs of Socotra province, and in the interest of Socotra Island and its people.

In the past few days, the Socotra province has witnessed massive demonstrations demanding the departure of the UAE-Saudi occupation from the island.
