UN concerned to stop tampering with Yemenis’ lives, livelihoods: PM

SANAA, July 1 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor said that the United Nations is concerned to stop tampering with lives of Yemenis and their livelihoods by Aden’s government loyal to Saudi-led coalition.

“The other party loyal to the coalition always works to tighten and fight the Yemeni people by various means, including subversive actions that meet desire of the coalition countries,” Dr. bin Habtoor said during his meeting with Yasser al-Wahidi, executive director of Yemeni Petroleum Company.

The premier praised the company’s efforts to achieve the stability in the oil derivatives supplies and to confront violators and manipulators.

In the meeting, al-Wahidi said that the supplies situation of oil derivatives is stable and was enhanced as a result of the entry of oil vessels to the port of Hodeidah.

There are ships currently unloading their cargo and others are on their way to the port, he added.

He pointed out that the company had closed 53 various fuel stations and referred them to the Public Prosecution, and is currently studying the status of more than 120 stations established at random in violation of standards and conditions adopted by the company.
