Public Works Ministry discusses implementation of national vision

SANAA, June 30 (YPA) – Ministry of Public Works and Roads on Sunday held a meeting in Sanaa to discuss the mechanism of implementation of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state in the public works and roads sector.

At the meeting, Minister of Public Works and Roads Ghalib Mutlaq said that the national vision represents a practical embodiment of the slogan launched by the Martyr President Saleh al-Samad for building the state.

“The vision expressed the country’s need for a comprehensive project that accommodates the challenges facing the homeland as a result of the aggression and siege and looks forward to the future prospects,” he added.

Mutlaq pointed to the importance of activating the work in the sectors of works, roads and housing and benefiting from existing expertise and competencies to achieve the developmental and service objectives.

He urged all sectors and departments of the ministry to place perceptions about their vision on indicators and main directions to implement what is stated in the national vision and what can be implemented in the medium and long term.

The meeting also touched on the implementation of the third strategic phase of the national vision (advancement and excellence 2026-2030).
