SANAA, June 30 (YPA) – At least four people died on Sunday in eastern France due to the intense heatwave that the country has been witnessing for six consecutive days.
The French authorities announced that six people had been transported to hospitals due to the high surge of temperatures, one of whom died while another still in critical condition.
The mayor of the eastern French city of ” Cernay” confirmed the death of two people last Thursday, along with a construction worker working on the roof of a house in western France.
On Friday, France recorded the highest temperature ever in the light of the extraordinary heatwave sweeping Europe, exceeding 45 degrees Celsius in Versailles, according to the French meteorological agency.
