Attorney General discusses needs of Sanaa reformatory

SANAA, June 29 (YPA) – Attorney-General Judge Nabil al-Azzani on Saturday chaired a meeting with leaders of the Local Council of Sanaa province, in presence of Director of the Central Reformatory in the province Colonel Qaid al-Masabi.

Al-Azzani discussed with the local officials needs of the reformatory in the light of the report of the committee entrusted by the province’s leadership to inspect the conditions of the reformatory.

The meeting touched on the request of the province’s local council to establish a public funds prosecution in the province.

At the meeting, the Attorney-General praised the local authority’s efforts to follow up the conditions of prisoners and their cases, stressing the importance of improving the situation of inmates and deciding on their cases.
