Oil Ministry inaugurates campaign to replace damaged gas cylinders in Sanaa

SANAA, June 29 (YPA) – Minister of Oil and Minerals Ahmed Daress and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Mohammed al-Hashemi on Saturday inaugurated a campaign to replace and change damaged gas cylinders with new or renovated ones.

In the inauguration, the oil minister said that the campaign was launched at the directives of the supreme leadership to reduce the damage and dangers caused by damaged cylinders to citizens.

He noted that the campaign is part of emergency measures taken by the oil ministry and the gas company, in light of the continued refusal of the mercenary authorities in Marib province to renovate those cylinders despite the amounts they have deducted over years for maintenance, estimated at billions of riyals.
