Coalition forces suffer many casualties in Najran

NAJRAN, June 27 (YPA) – Dozens of mercenaries of Saudi-led coalition forces on Thursday were killed and wounded by the Yemeni army fire in the border front of Najran, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The army units backed by popular committees foiled an attempt of infiltration by the Saudi army mercenaries towards sites in Marba al-Hammad area, inflecting them many casualties, according to the official.

The casualties in ranks of the mercenaries doubled due to the Yemeni army’s artillery shelling that targeted them during the infiltration and on their gatherings in al-Sowah area off Najran, he added.
