SPC Member: Bahrain Conference reveals reasons for crackdown of Bahraini people

SANAA, June 26 (YPA) – Mohammed Ali al-Houthi,a member of the Supreme political Council has stated that the ” launching of the so-called “Trump deal” during the ongoing Bahrain Conference, reveals to the world why the Bahraini Al-Khalifa regime has suppressed the revolutionary Bahraini people and suspended their rights.

In statement to the Yemen Press Agency, al-Houthi said that the silence of the world, especially the western countries, towards the injustice and oppression of the people of Bahrain was not free of charge.

The price of the long silence from the imperialist West, al-Houthi said, was the selling out of Bahrain to Zionism.

Al-Houthi stressed that what is happening today in Bahrain has proven beyond any doubt that the al-Khalifa regime is nothing but a tool at the hands of the countries of aggression.
