Gunmen kidnap pharmacist in Aden

ADEN, June 25 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen kidnapped one of the pharmacists at Al-Jumhuriya Hospital in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden on Tuesday.

According to eyewitnesses, unidentified gunmen believed to be of the UAE-backed militia raided the house of the pharmacist Dr. Mohammed Essam, who works in Al-Jumhuriya Hospital and took him to an unknown destination.

The kidnapping of Dr. Essam came against the backdrop of his posts on social media websites, in which he had criticized political forces and militias because of the deterioration of basic services in the city, eyewitnesses added.

Activists opposed to the UAE occupation forces in Aden are being abducted, abused and forcibly disappeared in secret prisons in the city and other southern provinces controlled by the Emirati-Saudi occupation militias.
