Update: Yemeni army foils second coalition’s infiltration attempt in Taiz

TAIZ, June 21 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Friday repelled a second attack carried out by mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition in Taiz province, southwest of Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of the mercenaries were killed and wounded, including military commanders during their infiltration attempt towards the army’s positions in Salah front, the official said.

Earlier in the day, the army forces have foiled the first attack carried out by the mercenaries on the army’s positions in the same area, leaving deaths and injuries in their ranks.
