Aden’s Bajarsh power plant stops suddenly

ADEN, June 20 (YPA) – Generators of “Bajarsh” electrical station in Aden city, southern Yemen, stopped working suddenly on Wednesday.

Sources reported that supplying the station with quantities of spoiled diesel during the last period had caused the stoppage of the generators at the station, located in Khormaksar district.

The sources said that the station administration had recently discovered that the diesel was mixed with kerosene.

The administration formed a competent committee to investigate into the issue, they added.

The sources speculated that the diesel quantities were of the oil derivatives granted by Saudi Arabia to the electrical stations in the southern provinces in last August.
