FM stresses doubling cooperation with WFP

SANAA, June 16 (YPA) – Yemen’s Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Sunday stressed on the importance of doubling cooperation between Yemen and the UN of the World Food Programme (WFP).

The move came when the minister was being handed over a message by the Resident Representative of the WFP Stephen Anderson to Yemen’s president Mahdi al-Mashat.

At the meeting, the officials a number of aspects regarding the humanitarian aid to alleviate suffering of the Yemeni people in the light of the blockade imposed by the Saudi-UAE coalition on Yemen.

The minister said that the National Salvation Government would provide all facilities required by the UN organizations working in Yemen.
