Information Minister reveals details of int’l mediation to stop attacks on Saudi Arabia, UAE

SANAA, June 16 (YPA) – Yemen’s Information Minister Dhaifallah al-Shami has revealed details of major international efforts and mediation to save the Saudi and Emirati regimes from Yemeni air and ballistic strikes.

“There are major international efforts and mediations, headed by the UK, to stop attacking the airports and vital facilities in Saudi Arabia and the UAE,” Information Minister Dhaifallah al-Shami said in a statement.

These efforts and mediations come after the escalation of the qualitative attacks carried out by the Yemeni missile and air forces on airports and vital facilities belonging to the aggression countries, after the international community and the United Nations ignored the calls for the opening of the Sanaa International Airport.

The aggression against the Yemeni people, have endured the ravages of war and siege for five years since the beginning of the international aggression against Yemen under the leadership of the Saudi and Emirati regimes, has been tightened by the aggressive and oppressive sanctions imposed by the aggression countries.

Yemen’s army spokesman announced that “the air force has carried out a broad and qualitative operations targeting Abha and Jizan airports in Saudi Araiba with several of Qasifk-2k combat drones.”

He further confirmed that the aerial attacks caused significant damages to both airports, putting the two airports out of service.
