UAE-backed militias in Abyan kill citizen from Mahrah

ABYAN, June 15 (YPA) – Militias of the so-called “security belt forces” funded by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) occupation forces in Abyan province have killed a citizen from Mahrah province, local sources reported.

According to local sources in Mahrah, members of the UAE-backed “security belt militias” in Abyan province  have arrested the citizen, “Manie  Ridf Hamid Qumisat” at one of their checking points, to be executed hours after his arrest in front of the 7th October  military Camp in Abyan province, southern Yemen.

The sources explained that the “security belt” militias, led by Abdul Latif El Sayed in Abyan, who committed the crime against” Manie Ridf Hamid Qumisat” last Wednesday.

The incident provoked popular outrage among the citizens of people of Mahrah province in general and the Qmaset tribe in particular.

Ali Abdallah Arran, head of the “MERS”  organization for studies and director of the former human rights office in Mahrah province, condemned the killing of the citizen by the UAE-backed militias in in Abyan province.

The sons of Mahrah will not “stand idly by in front of any drop of blood falling from the sons of al-Mahrah,” he confirmed.
