Protesters block main streets in Aden city

ADEN, June 15 (YPA) – Dozens of Protesters in southern port City of Aden have blocked the main streets in the city in a protest against the continued deterioration of public services and constant power outages, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the sources, the angry protesters have cut off the road in Abdul-Qader neighborhood, the main road linking Sheikh Othman district.

Protesters have also set fire to tires and blocked traffic on the road to reach al-Hashemi in Sheikh Othman district.This angry protest came after a power outage from Abdul-Qader neighborhood a few days ago.

Aden has been witnessing currently wave of protests on the background of continued deterioration of public services and constant power outages in all southern provinces, and against Riyadh-backed government of Aden.
