Yemen’s army spokesman: Qasif-K2 Drones Attack Radar for Air Traffic Control at Saudi Abha Airport

SANAA, June 14(YPA) – Yemen’s Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e has said that the air forces of the army launched aerial attacks on Abha International Airport on Friday.

The Air Forces launched drone strikes, using several number of Qasif-K2 combating drones, targeting Radar for Air Traffic Control at the airport, the spokesman stated.

He  denied the Saudi regime’s allegations that they had intercepted the drones attacks.

Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e further confirmed that aerial attacks hit its targets with high accuracy, causing its destruction and putting it out of service.

“Today we affirm to the Saudi regime that our operations are continuing towards the airports and military sites on an incremental basis as long as the aggression and blockade against our country are continued and has become unsafe,” he said.

The Brigadier general called on airlines and civilians to move away from airports and military sites as they became legitimate targets.
