Update: Yemeni army launches offensive on Saudi positions in Najran

NAJRAN, June 12 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Wednesday launched an offensive on positions of Saudi-led coalition in Najran region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the battle, which took place in Moraba’a Shajaa, left dozens of the Saudi-backed mercenaries dead and wounded.

Earlier in the day, the army forces destroyed a Saudi military pickup loaded with mercenaries in Ajasher desert, killing all its crew members.

The military pickup was destroyed by an improvised explosive device planted by the army engineering unit.
