FM Minister meets Deputy Emergency Director of UNICEF

SANAA, June 12  (YPA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs Hisham Sharaf on Wednesday met with Deputy Emergency Director of the United Nations Children and Motherhood Organization (UNICEF), Grant Litti.

During the meeting, the officials reviewed the projects, programs and relief activities carried out by UNICEF in Yemen in light of the catastrophic humanitarian consequences.

The Foreign Minister affirmed the support of Salvation Government for the efforts of UNICEF and its activities and other international organizations working in Yemen to ensure the success of its humanitarian tasks and provide all facilities for them.

Sharaf highly valued the interaction with the suffering of the Yemeni people, who are subjected to aggression and siege by Saudi Arabia and its allies.

For his part, Deputy Emergency Director of the United Nations Children and Motherhood Organization expressed UNICEF appreciation for the cooperation received from the Yemeni authorities in facilitating the functions of the Organization.
