FM meets WFP acting resident representative

SANAA, June 12 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah on Tuesday met with the acting Resident representative of the World Food Program (WFP) in Sanaa Ali Reda.

During the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs received the nomination documents for the new Resident representative of Yemen, and the arrangements for the disbursement of assistance to the beneficiaries were discussed urgently.

Hisham Sharaf stressed the importance of the procedures being facilitated and flexible without adding any difficulties or burdens to the targeted citizens.

For his part, the acting representative confirmed that the World Food Program is keen to reach the largest number of beneficiaries in various Yemeni regions.
