SHABWAH, June 10 (YPA) – Local sources reported on Monday that militias from the so-called “al-Shabawanian elite forces and southern Resistance recruits” funded by the United Arab Emirates occupation forces took control over a military camp belonging to the top leader of Islah party, Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar in Usaylan district Shabwah province, eastern Yemen.
According to the sources, the camp is the first line of defence for a strategic oil field in Shabwah province.
Sources said that UAE-backed militias had restored a military center, which was under the control of northern forces loyal to Saudi-led coalition.
The sources confirmed that the first line of defense for the oil fields in the area of the field Jannah in the Balharith Valley in Usaylan district is under the control of the UAE-backed militias after expelling forces loyal to Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar from the region.
