In Photos: Wreckage of downed Saudi spy plane

HODEIDAH, June 7 (YPA) – The military media of the Yemeni army has on Friday published photos of the wreckage of the highly advanced US-made spy aircraft belonging to the coalition that was downed on Thursday night.

The Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said that the air defenses shot down a “MQ9” aircraft while it was “carrying out a surveillance mission near Za’afran village on the western coast.”

The official confirmed that it was down by a Suitable surface-to-air missile.
