Abdul Salam: Organizations of Mecca Summits are “a farce” run by Kushner

SANAA, June 2 (YPA) – The head of the national delegation Mohammed Abdel Salam said that” the Failure of convening the emergency meetings in Saudi Arabia, called by the kingdom, was due to the fact that it has become ineffective and outside the framework of issues of the Nation.”

He added that in the wars and crises of the region ignited by Saudi Arabia and supervised by the United Nations, Saudi Arabia strongly rejects any Gulf, Arab or Islamic mediation.

Abdul Salam further pointed out that the Gulf Cooperation Council is in an undesired situation and is no longer held formatively except with great efforts. Regarding the Arab League, Abdul Salam said, “it has become a joke among the people of the region. It is the last to find out about its problems and issues.”

He said the Organization of the Islamic Conference is no longer heard about only in its annual meeting, stressing that “Kushner or the United Nations manage the issues of the region, especially the Palestine cause.”

The comments of the head of the national delegation come as an extension of a series of tweets published on Saturday, in which he confirmed that Saudi Arabia has failed in its three summits to “make achievement of even a formality” regarding their war against Yemen.
