5 civilians, including children, injured in coalition shelling on neighborhoods in Taiz

TAIZ, June 2 (YPA) – Five civilians, including children, were injured on Saturday in Saudi-led coalition mercenaries’ shelling on populated neighborhoods in Taiz city, southwest Yemen, a security source told Yemen Press Agency.

The coalition mercenaries shelled Al-Jomlah Souk neighborhood in central of the city with a mortar, which led to the injuring of five people, including children, the source explained.

This crime comes in the context of the crimes committed by the coalition forces against civilians from time to time by targeting populated areas and citizens’ homes, in addition to the armed clashes between factions loyal to Saudi Arabia and the UAE in several residential neighborhoods in the city of Taiz, which left dozens of victims, including children and women.
