In Photos: Yemenis hold mass rallies marking ” International Quds Day”

SANAA, May 31 (YPA) –  Hundred of thousands of Yemenis on Friday have held a mass rally at 60th Street north of the Capital Sana’a to commemorate International Quds Day under the slogan “No to the Trump deal.”

Demonstrators carried Yemeni flags, Palestine flags, banners of freedom against The US policy in the region, pictures of the Leader of the Revolution and pictures of resistance leaders in the region.

The participants confirmed their support to the Palestine case, as a central case of the nation.

They raised banners expressing their solidarity with Palestinian people until the restoration of all its usurped rights and lands, and rejecting the Zionist occupation of the Holy land in Palestine.

Several Yemeni provinces witnessed on Friday many mass rallies on this occasion, except the provinces occupied by Saudi-led coalition states.


On Thursday, The Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik has called on Yemeni people to express their solidarity with Palestinians by partaking in International Quds Day rallies.

He confirmed that the Yemeni people have faithful positions and hostile to America and Israel and support the Palestinian cause.

Sayyed al-Houthi further affirmed that Palestine is part of Muslim nation and it matters to all Muslims.

“The resistance is the only trend that has continued to be effective in dealing with the Israeli threat,” Sayyed al-Houthi said, adding that the enemy moves at all levels to dismantle the nation and hit it from the inside

Quds Day, officially called International Quds Day, is an annual event held on the last Friday of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan to express support for the Palestinians and oppose Zionism and Israel.
