Yemeni army repels several attacks of coalition in Taiz

TAIZ, May 30 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Thursday repelled several attacks carried out by mercenaries of Saudi-led coalition in Taiz, southwestern Yemen, a military official told Yemen press Agency.

According to the official, dozens of mercenaries, including military leaders were killed and wounded when they tried to advance towards the positions of the army forces in Air Defense hill, Easifrah and Jabal al-Wa’ash areas in the city of Taiz.

The official confirmed that the army forces were able to destroy a military tank of the mercenaries during the attack.
