900 Yemeni citizens killed by coalition air strikes over 2019:UN

SANAA, May 27 (YPA) – Lise Grande, the UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen said on Sunday in a press statement that 900 Yemeni citizens have been killed in Saudi-led coalition war on Yemen since the current year of 2019.

The statement affirmed that the Friday’s coalition air strike on a gas station in Mawayh district of Taiz killed and wounded 13 citizens, including children.

Grande said that the air attack by the coalition war planes on a residential neighborhood in Sanaa is the second during the holy month of Ramadan that killed and wounded dozens of people nine days ago, including women and children, and the UN’s health workers.

“The heavy casualties against citizens continues as a result of the coalition war on Yemen, condemning the air attack and all violations of international law  against the civilians in Yemen, the statement added.
