Civilians killed by improvised explosive device in Taiz

SANAA, May 12 (YPA) – A man and a woman were killed in the city of Taiz on Sunday night and three others were injured by a an explosive device planted in the garbage piles in Jamal Street, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources said that the packaging was timed to explode at peak times in iftar during the street was crowded with pedestrians.

The sources added that another bomb was dismantled on the same street in the center of the city.

It is worth mentioning that the city of Taiz suffers from the state of security chaos, as a result of conflicts between the mercenaries of the coalition, where the city has witnessed a bloody conflict between the mercenaries of the Reform Party on the one hand, and the group “Abu Abbas” Salafist on the another hand on last April, ended the last forcing to leave the city to west of Taiz.
