Suicide bombing targets military post in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, May 11 (YPA) – A suicide bomber blew himself up on Saturday evening near a military checkpoint of the so-called” Hadramout elite forces” loyal to the UAE occupation in Koka area of Doan Valley of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.

Police patrols were seen surrounding the location where the bombing took place, according to eyewitnesses.

While sources confirm that the explosion occurred after the siege of the suicide bomber, a spokesman of the second military region denied that a military point was exposed to a terrorist attack.

The spokesman said that the incident occurred as a result of the explosion of a mine by a person, which led to his death on the spot , adding that the person’s body was recovered and identified.
