Israeli forces target Palestinian farmers, fishermen in Gaza

SANAA, May 11 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces at dawn on Saturday, fired at Palestinian farmers and fishermen in the Gaza Strip, Palestine Now News Agency reported.

According to Palestine Now Agency, quoting local sources, Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire in the direction of farmlands  east of the town of Khuza’a, east of Khan Yunis Province in the southern Gaza Strip.

The military occupation gunboats also targeted fishermen’s boats in the Sudaniah Sea northwest of Gaza, 2 miles away.

The occupation authorities decided to expand the fishing space in the Gaza Strip, starting on Friday at 10 a.m.

The occupation forces decided to close the sea to fishermen and all crossings between copped territories and the Gaza Strip, as well as to stop the entry of electricity fuel, last Sunday, due to the recent round of escalation on the Gaza strip.
