7 Palestinians killed in Israeli air strikes on Gaza Strip

SANAA, May 5 (YPA) – Israeli occupation warplanes continued to bombard targets in the Gaza Strip in the morning hours of Sunday and The Palestinian resistance responded by firing rockets at settlements in the Gaza Strip,  Palestinian media reported

According to the Palestinian media, the ongoing Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip on its first day killed seven Palestinians and the wounding of 40 others.

An Israeli reconnaissance aircraft bombed a motorcycle in the Falouga area of Jabaliya refugee camp, wounding its driver and transporting him to the hospital for treatment, a Palestinian MAA agency correspondent in Gaza said.

The occupation warplanes targeted the sites of al-Qassam Brigades at the entrance to Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

At dawn on Sunday, Israeli occupation fighter jets destroyed a house of a Palestinian family in the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah.

In an updated statistic, the Palestinian government’s information office in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation warplanes carried out 150 raids, as well as artillery shelling targeting 200 civilian targets in the Gaza Strip, including residential buildings, mosques, blacksmith’s shops, commercial shops and advertising institutions.

The occupation destroyed seven residential buildings in the Gaza Strip as well as the shelling of al- Mustafa Mosque in Shati’ camp.

The Palestinian resistance fired new missile strikes on Sunday at the settlements around the Gaza Strip.
